Manage the current CDD team of 10 staff. To include recruitment, appraisal, performance management and motivation.

Description

• Manage the current CDD team of 10 staff. To include recruitment, appraisal, performance management and motivation.

• Continue the deployment of policies and procedures to the CDD team and wider business and make any recommendations for further enhancement.

• Manage case allocation and pipeline management.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive management information reporting programme.

• Act as a subject matter expert on AML.

• Manage and make recommendations on quality assurance.

• Manage operational issues logging and resolution.

• Manage case analysis issues and errors with resolution.

• Manage and provide input into internal review or escalation processes.

• Manage the communication of process updates to the various business areas and support the CDD team in their interactions with the business areas. Input to arrangements for online and offline training of fee earners across the business.

• Advise and support the Operations and Risk team on any recruitment, systems, training and deployment requirements.

Profile

• The individual will have SME knowledge and experience in developing and rolling out new procedures.

• They will have a minimum of three years' experience managing a CDD operations team and/or delivering change management within the CDD and AML space.

• They will be degree educated (2.1) and ideally have an appropriate financial services or risk management qualification. However, if the individual is very experienced in an equivalent role with a reputable firm, then applications would still be considered.

Job Offer

• £60,000 - £70,000 dependant on experience.
