Commercial Lawyer - Major Business - West Midlands

Our client is a global business widely respected as an industry leader and excellent employer. Their legal team is fully integrated within a highly commercial environment, supporting company projects around the region. Excellent long-term prospects are on offer for team members that distinguish themselves. 

The team is seeking to make a new appointment to their growing legal function. The successful candidate will be a talented, ambitious lawyer with a solid grounding in commercial negotiation and contracts, commercially astute and possessing in-house experience. You must be competent in full-cycle contract delivery, from RFP to post-award and able to manage relationships with internal and external key partners effectively. In addition the role will address numerous other matters including dispute resolution, corporate, employment and competition issues.

For consideration you must be able to demonstrate a sound track record of the above, plus the commitment and desire needed to succeed within this demanding business. The ability to work with a minimum of supervision is essential, providing commercially legal advice to the business whilst limiting risk.
