The Opportunity
A fast-paced SME business in financial services are looking for an Interim Group Financial Controller to work in close cohesion with a talented CFO during an exciting time for the company sector at an integral moment in the company's development.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the team and getting involved in the hands-on running of the accounting function, including monthly management reporting including financial performance, variance analysis and cashflow forecasting. You will be managing a team of accountants, and planning their development. There is also a sizeable corporate accounting and a strong regulatory element to the role.
Requirements
To apply for this role you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), ideally with a business degree, with previous experience working in financial services - ideally in a brokerage type environment. Prior to this role, you will worked in a small company environment. You will be a highly proficient team manager. Your Excel skills will be of a very good standard.
