This is a rare opportunity in the New Zealand market to join one of the country’s leading commercial firms. As Director of Marketing and BD, taking over an existing team, this role will focus on the evolution of the Marketing and BD function and is a real opportunity to affect positive change and leave your mark.
Reporting to the CEO and playing a key role in the Management Team, you will also have direct access to the Board in a firm with a sophisticated management structure. The objective of the role will be to increase brand profile, strengthen and leverage existing client relationships and strategically position for new client work to first maintain and then grow market share.
The successful applicant will bring a proven track record of delivering outcomes in a professional services context and will also be able to display an understanding of the business of law. The firm is seeking someone who is dynamic and engaging as well as passionate about what they do. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to utilise well developed commercial and strategic abilities with a structured approach. You will have excellent team leadership and management abilities as well as high emotional intelligence and intuition. You will be used to quickly developing relationships with Partners based on credibility, trust and delivery allowing you to then coach, advise and inspire.
