Group Financial Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Group Financial Controller to join a rapidly expanding Professional Services organisation based in Redditch. The company has seen tremendous growth and has acquired a number of companies over the last 18 months. This is a newly created role and will report into the Group CFO.

Overseeing a team, this role would ideally suit a technically capable candidate who has ideally Qualified within a larger Public Practice team and is looking for their second or third role within industry. The company are listed so a knowledge of IFRS would be a strong advantage. Consideration will also be given to industry Qualified

Due to growth and acquisition the company will look to implement a new ERP system and this position would be actively involved in the roll out of the new system. There are also plans to acquire new companies so there will be a significant amount of work around due diligence work.
Other duties:
Deputyfor Chief Financial Officer
Daily operation of Finance department
Production and review of monthly management accounts for presentation to the Group Board.
Production of subsidiary company Statutory accounts for audit and liaison with external auditors to ensure satisfactory conclusion of the audit process
To ensure regulatory compliance of financial matters impacting the trading operations
Daily cash management of group companies
Ownership of General Ledger replacement project
Participate and support the process review and implement the outcomes
