Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is a large and complex multi-site provider of acute, specialist and community health services. The Trust now has a vacancy for a Non-executive Director and is also taking the opportunity to identify another individual as a Non-executive Designate to provide additional support to the board and after a period of induction to Chair the Audit Committee.

Your Credentials

Candidates will need to have a genuine commitment to patients and their families and the promotion of excellent health care services. They will have previous senior or board level experience gained within a large complex organisation preferably within the NHS in one or more of the following areas:

§  A qualified accountant with a recognised qualification or relevant finance experience at board level

§  Experience of working at a strategic level within a commercial environment

§  An understanding of compliance and health and safety would also be an advantage but not essential
