Now seeking a Director to spearhead the strategic decision to expand their market share within the further education sector, they are ready to provide the support and mentoring to reach the highest levels within the firm.

The Audit Director will be a senior member of the Education team and will report directly to the National Head of Education and be part of a well-known team. Responsible for servicing clients, directing all assurance services delivered, managing our people and supporting the Partners with business development and practice management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and directing all aspects of audit services delivered.
  • Maximising profitability from a portfolio of clients
  • Supporting Partners in group sales and marketing activity, including playing a leading role in client pitch teams, attendance at group networking, and other marketing events as appropriate.
  • Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing clients, target clients and the internal business.
  • People management responsibilities
  • Develop specialist knowledge in Further Education across the whole country but especially in London and the South East.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Educated up to degree level or CTS.
  • Previous Audit Manager in practice.
  • Significant experience of delivering audits to Further Education Colleges and/or Universities
  • Excellent working knowledge of  UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.

Although the position is based in London / South the successful candidate can be based in Gatwick, Guildford, London or Reading.
